Build, explore, and adventure, in no particular order.
if you're wondering what "adventures" are, it's sort of a mix of building, exploring, and playing the game (usually caving). In my oldest world, I'd "go on adventures" which meant setting out in the overworld beyond the immediate established areas, traveling to a spot I decided I liked, and building usually a small camp, or sometimes deciding to make it a small village. I'd then often go caving in that area and just enjoy a camping-like retreat.
I guess it explains why I've been able to maintain interest in that hardcore world for so long despite not being able to invest too much into building (although I still do that too).
I like to build up worlds with a lot of established villages/cities, network them together (paths, bridges, rail, nether networks, etc.), give them backstories, and then sort of do light role playing in my world where I just lead on of the locations and play within the world.
My username is self-explanatory, and that is literally pretty much all I do in-game, although you could also count modding (not really an in-game activity), which is my means of expressing my creativity (my builds are otherwise mostly functional).
I like practicing PvP.

As someone who plays primarily on single-player, my favorite activities are building and exploring the Overworld.
I also like doing minecraft parkour.

RTG plus - All the beautiful terrain of RTG, plus varied and beautiful trees and forests.
Better Forests Varied and beautiful trees and forests, in modern Minecraft.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Building is probably both my favorite and least favorite activity in Minecraft XD
Building lol
Making mods & mob battle.
