users are in and building... we wont have the ranks worked out with hey0's mod until a bit later but basic commands (/sethome /spawn) are working fine.

We're trying to find a server that's as grief-free as possible and young enough to accommodate a few new players. We'd love it if you would white-list us so we could join you!
I am the well reputed friend of ANauticalVehicle. I would very much like to be a part of this server as it seems much more polite and free than some other servers.

Will add you guys to the whitelist... having some server maintenance going on - it will be down a little longer. Unfortunately, I have to work this saturday, I'll be off in 1.5 hours so I'll be able to go to the server physically and make some changes.
We appreciate the heads-up, Kainzo! Being made aware of any issues and their expected duration always makes the waiting easier. Very professional of ya. We look forward to the restoration of the server and will look for updates as they are posted.

I'm at work... the server is up at the moment. Being at work its hard to get some of these things done remotely.... Unfortunately, some things can only be fixed if you're physically there to check the hardware components.
The server we run this on is a Windows XP sp3 (Windows 7 themed edition) ... It's using a single core 2.5 mhz AMD 64bit CPU. With 2gigs of ramm, so it has its own issues, though I don't believe this outtage was due to any of that.
We'll be upgrading the server as money and time allows. I'm hoping to use some spare parts to get that CPU to at least a dual core and the ram to 4gigs.
The main failing for any server device will always be the router/connection. It seemingly has a lot to do with 20+ people connected at any time and needs to be rebooted regularly every few days.
Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope it doesn't come back up, but if it does, we will take care of it asap.
We currently have 3 slots open in our town before we begin expanding again.
The /warp command is currently in and has one location of importance /warp town
Players by default also have the ability to use the /spawn command to return to the DH Welcome Center and the /sethome command to set an area "their house" as a home spawn. They may use /home to teleport to that location.
