After navigating the endless droves of sub-par minecraft hosts I finally hit the jackpot!
In the current climate of lager than life claims and empty promises these guys deliver! Many hosts prey on the uninitiated to feed them money all the while offering services that are lacking in support, honesty, technical knowledge and passion for our beloved game... These guys are different.
After having many poor hosting experiences they decided to start their own hosting company! I would rather have fellow gamers from our Minecraft community host me than some faceless mega conglomerate or some kid on his fathers mega machine!
They are professional! Even the most seasoned server owner needs a hand at times. These guys know what to do in the event of a problem and quickly work to a resolution politely and without hubris. Their knowledge base and understanding is second to none!
Honesty goes a mile with me! After I signed up with them Multicraft went down. I notified the PMH support and they quickly responded. They let me know it was a DDOS attack! They went after the attackers and got the issue resolved in a short period of time! I know few hosts who would tell a user about a ddos attack let alone work to resolve the issue so quickly!
It stands to reason... If you don't want bad service, stop using bad hosts. Fight back against the mega corporations and high prices by supporting a host who really has the common gamer in mind!

Please let us MultiCraft users see the RAM usage and CPU usage, I'm a person who is into garbage collection, and ways to optimise the server to reduce lag, so everyone can play. So I would LOVE to have that feature.
Its been over a month since I've bought my first server from them, and it's been great. I recently experienced a 2 hour DDOS and they got it fixed in a short time. Great job guys!

I give them a 5/10 for their support, wait times is not a problem, but the way they answer their
tickets with short length, dumb questions. Half of the time, they make the customer wait longer
than what they should to get everything fixed / assisted with.
Knowledge:

I give them the highest rating here because they know how and what to do with minecraft server,
yep they don't have full head on support for everything.
Attitude:
2/10
Their attitude inside of tickets makes me feel as if they don't care whatsoever about us, they sound like
they don't want to be there, and don't want to do anything.

Only 3 day refunds to new customers alone? While every other places offers at least a 7 day refund and
money back guarantee to all customers. Also, for dedicated servers, they delete ALL of your date if you are
one single day late on making the payment for your dedi, they don't even back it up for you and say " Here's your
files " I mean seriously?
Also, the fact that if you were to move to a dedi and they take 48 hours to setup the dedi, and another 48 hours to
transfer all the files without asking stupid questions, and you have to pay your bill the first 24 hours in, they don't even
give you a refund on the shared hosting, they make you pay it or the files are deleted.
Personally, I will never use your services again. Goodluck on getting customers, and have a wonderful day.
Time for my second vouch, keep reading for some feedback:
Been about 2 months -- Having a great experience with these guys. No lag. They've had a few DDOS' but they've recovered within less than 30 minutes to 1 minute in most times. (There have only been 3 ddos' in 2 months), out of which non of them have been for more than 25-30ish mins).
My feedback:

Thank you for your review! As far as RAM and CPU meters, they are not very accurate in the panel (especially the CPU) meter and from our experience it causes more confusion than the good it provides.

We do not have Voltz already with MCPC+, but we do have both Votlz and MCPC+ builds available in the panel, so you can install Voltz, then switch to MCPC+

Thank you for your review. Although it just mostly sounds like you are not satisfies with our cancellation and refund policies. We are aware that other hosts might have longer refund policies, but that does not mean that we have to do the same, we do what we feel is the best for our company.
As far as cancellation is is clearly stated that files will be removed if no payment is received for dedicated servers. We send out invoices two weeks before they are due, then you also get a reminder closer to the due date. Also, with dedicated servers we remind you a few days before via a support ticket.

Revision of review: So Ive had this provider for 2 years, they are so great. They are very helpful with all my question and support is very fast and helpful 9.9/10 because there is no such thing as perfect.
I am very happy with this server hosting company I would have to agree with X_angelz_X the support and attitude is not great. It normally takes them anywhere from 5 minutes - 3 hours for them to reply to a support ticket and its normaly replied to with a stupid non-helpful question. Other wise the actual server is good and overall i give them a 8/10.
The "stupid non-helpful" questions need to be answered so we can help you troubleshoot.

I'm quite experienced when it comes to minecraft hosts and so far the only one I can say that I've had no problems with is Fragnet. Only issue with them is that they are a bit pricey, so I was looking for a cheaper alternative. That's when ProMinecraftHosting caught my eye...
Was keen to signing up with these but was quite hesitant due to the lack of reviews in quantity compared to some of the other well known hosts out there, so I decided to request a trial from them which is a service that they advertise and offer, apparently. My initial request was denied based on non-availability, which was fine. I was told to try again tomorrow, which I did.
However, after trying again, I ended up with getting no response from them at all. A day goes by and they close the ticket, hmm... Not a good first impression. My suspicion is that low priority is given to 'potential' customers rather than paying customers, which is fair enough in some ways but if your going to offer a service only to back-pedal on it, then you might as well remove the service your offering.
I decided to not bother now considering the poor approach by Pro's customer support and have signed up with a different host.

Great support, I accidentally purchased a server that was incapable of doing what I wanted to do. As a plugin developer I'd require much more RAM and much more TPS, while I bought the cheapest package. I then asked for a complete refund and got one. What a great company! Best support.
one word AMAZING, they answer questions super fast and they have the cheapest big servers, proof? look at these guys bigger servers for example 8gb for $80 or go to mcprohosting.com and pay more for less 6gbs for $80 plus promchosting.com's service sucks, definantly use PROMINECRAFTHOST>COM <--- Best
Hey guys! I'm seeing a lot of positive feedback on this and am really close to buying it, but because this is my first time I don't want to screw up so I have a bit of questions:
1. I have a server with a BUNCH of mods using forge, such as Pixelmon and Thaumcraft. If I rent this host, will I be able to edit what mods I want on my server and the config files, etc. as if it were a folder on my computer (or something similar)?
2. Are there any more promo codes?
3. I live in the East Coast, and this seems to be in Dallas, Texas. Is there going to be severe lag?
4. If I rent the 1GB version, and I am not satisfied, or if I want to downgrade OR upgrade, can I get a refund? If so, what's the limit?
5. Also, regarding the world, if I am 1 day late in payment or so, according to a post here, it gets deleted right away? I won't even have the backup files? Is there like a way to pay automatically then each month (that I can cancel if need be) then?
6. My server, I think, uses approximately 800MB with 2 people on. Do you think 1GB will suffice?

1: Yes, we support any mod pack you want, custom or pre made, so it will run.
2. Not at the moment.
3. You will not notice a difference really. You can try our test server IP: test.prominecrafthost.com
4. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime you want, and there is a 3 day limit on refunds after order is placed.
5. Your files are completed removed form our system after 13 days of no payment. If you pay with a CreditCard it can be charged automatically.
6. Yes, that should work fine since it's less than what your server uses.
In the past, I've tried several different hosting services like Daddycheese, McProhosting, fragnet etc and I must say none of these have ever satisfied me as much as Pro Minecraft Hosting.

There is no latency, the prices are epic! -Comparing to other companies- It's very affordable and what I really love about this company is the customer service. Replies are very fast unlike others where I had to wait for days...
I also love how there's a large variety of modpacks to choose from. You can purchase a server to play with a few friends to buying a bungee to form a network server!
