The moss is a nice touch and you have a good grasp on texturing, but you could probably make the moss' edges less blurry and more distinct with shadows showing that they're overlaying the stone. This model also only looks to be around 2 blocks tall -- making it larger would help emphasize that it is a potentially dangerous creature.
Hello,
I was wondering if I could get your honest opinions on this model I made of a golem. Is it too much? or not enough? does it seem to fit in Minecraft?

Thanks,

If you're looking to fit Minecraft's style, I would suggest reducing the amount of cubes used in the model. Jappa went over vertex balance in one of his old Twitter posts, and someone has collected a lot of the game's design rules and concepts on this Reddit thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/zx2cw1/the_design_principles_of_mojang_we_know_about/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
