A picture of the Lush Caverns, the most hospitable and player friendly biome in the dimension known as The Middlelands.
I have recently finished a datapack that adds a new cave dimension/mining dimension to the most recent version of minecraft (The Middlelands), which was inspired by the overworld caves preset and even uses the same noise as the caves preset, which from my knowledge was only accessible in 1.16. This new dimension has five unique biomes, all different from each other. Beds do not work in this dimension, thus you must use a respawn anchor to set your spawn. These massive caverns are filled with an over abundance of diamonds and gold, being an extremely useful dimension to the player, however you must craft a teleporter that is only one time use to both enter the dimension, and leave the dimension. As of right now the only naturally generating structure in this dimension should be dungeons, but I have yet to see one.
The crafting recipes and more information is on the both Curseforge, and Planet Minecraft
Note that the datapack is not yet multiplayer compatible
