I currently make a resource pack that retextures vanilla mobs into enemies from Nintendo's Fire Emblem. I have already made three textures for Zombies, Husks, and Phantoms that change them into Revenants, Entombed, and Gargoyles from Gaiden/Shadows of Valentia. I have the following ideas so far:
Spider and Cave Spider into Bael from Sacred Stones
Witch into the Witch class
Ravager into Demonic Beast from Three Houses
Vindicator into the Warrior or Berserker class
Pillager into the Thief class
Evoker into the Cantor class
Blaze into Vestal from Shadows of Valentia (Although, this may require Optifine to work, since the entire model would need to be changed to a player or villager model.)
Zombie Villagers into Prototype Risen from Shadows of Valentia (The ones found in the secret final dungeon)
Skeletons and Strays into Bonewalkers from Gaiden and Sacred Stones
Wither Skeletons into Wights or Demios from Sacred Stones or Shadows of Valentia
I also have the idea of compatibility with the Mutant Monsters mod to retexture Mutant Zombie into Dracul or Tomb Lord from Shadows of Valentia. I also thought of turning Ghasts or Slimes into Oculus from Gaiden and Sacred Stones and Wardens into Faceless from Fates, but I think these ideas clash with the intended design of these enemies from both games. Ghasts are too big and do not multiply, while Slimes do not fly nor have tentacles. Faceless are also super common and easy enemies to defeat in Fates, while the Warden is a rare enemy that is meant to be avoided.
FE Fates may have had a questionable story and morals, but the maps were almost always fun. They are some of the best experiences I have had with modern Nintendo games. I also thought of turning Iron Golems into the Church Golems from Three Houses, but the same reasons apply for why I cannot really implement Oculus while staying accurate to both FE and Minecraft. The size difference and their methods of attack conflict. Church Golems would likely be the same size as the Infdev Giant and they fight by throwing holy light, while the Iron Golem is a pure melee fighter. The material also makes it look more like a gold than iron. Is Optifine possible for changing the blaze model to that of Alex or a Villager? Since Vestals are sacrificed people, not whatever the Blaze is.
I have not made any items for this resource pack. It will just contain mob textures and language files to change the mob names into their FE counterparts. A majorty of the mobs in this resource pack also come from Giaden/Shadows of Valentia, because it has the highest amount of Monster units in the series.

In conquest the eternal stairway was a fun map with all the endless hordes of faceless and stoneborn.
Survivalist gamer, sandstone is best stone
