My little girl, age 5, started playing Minecraft on her iPad.
I thought that she would be able to get more out of it on her Nintendo switch, so I've just bought that too but it seems a little more restrictive?
I've followed tutorials online to change DNS settings to allow her to access private servers but the two that I've tried (Crazy Pig & CubeVille) haven't worked, unable to join.
My question is, please can you recommend something very easy yet fun for her to play? I haven't got a clue how Minecraft works myself, but I've noticed she's been building in her own world. I think she'd enjoy looking at new stuff which is why I thought she needs to join a server of some sort. She enjoys building stuff rather than survival based games.
Please can you give me ideas, for a complete novice.
The market place has diffrent "worlds" to select from. Most of them are challenges on survival others you can just explore the map, some even let you interact with vehicles and other items. Beware that they do cost money unless you have a realm subscription which then gives you access to a select amount of free monthly world selections that change every month. I have a realm that my kids play on but it all depends on what they feel like playing sometimes they ask for a flat world to build on other times they want a pets or dinosaur world to explore. At times I even build them challenges or treasure hunts lol. Hope this helps! If your daughter needs friends I have two girls (6 and 8) and one boy (4) who minecraft all day long.
