Why do you want to join this server? I've been searching for a nice trustworthy community to hand around. Also looking forward to build some farms and make friends.

I have always enjoyed minecraft, especially smaller servers with a handle of players. I was once a part of a community which ran strong for almost 12 months until the owners decided it was time to pack up.
I'd like to join a small server and have a similar experience with friendly players and a relativley active community.

Our server is mostly vanilla with some tweaks to enhance your game play, events, and other cool stuff. We use minimal plugins and try to keep this server as vanilla as possible because that's the experience we enjoy. This is also going to be an end-game focused server- meaning there will be no further resets after this season launches. Instead of resets here, we use community goals to expand our world border to encourage community development and new chunk generation in later versions.

From 2021 to 2023, I played on a small server with a very small number of active players (around 5-7).. However, after years of playing, that community slowly stopped playing and the server was eventually terminated. That's when I stopped playing for 1+ year.Right now, I'm getting back into Minecraft and I am searching for a new community to join and have fun with.I am looking for a place where I can play long-term and make new friends, and I am hoping to find that here.

My playing style is mainly focused on grinding and building farms. Although I'm not that good of a redstoner or technical minecrafter, it is what I enjoy most. Building is not really my thing, but I try to get better at it.
Other relevant information
Since the server is located in the US it might be relevant to know that I'm from the Netherlands and thus live in quite a different timezone.
I will be going on vacation with some friends between the 20th and the 26th of august, so I will not be able to play during that period.
Moreover, I do have some questions for you if that is OK
On what "platform" (apoligies for not finding a better word) does the server run? Fabric, paper, spigot, etc.?
What plugins do you have?
And at what distance is the world border set exactly, and by how much does it expand?

Why do you want to join this server? I love playing minecraft but I am never able to find a good server. That's why I'm playing singleplayer, but after a while it gets lonely. This server seems really nice and I'd love to be able to part of a community.
