Hello, I'm currently in a unique situation where I have some Minecraft saves from many years ago that do not load on the Xbox 360. I retrieved them using FatXplorer to read the hard drive for any deleted content. I sent the worlds out to Eaton Zveare who told me that some of them weren't possible to load due to overwritten parts of the file. I have the email history between me and him if it helps, along with a file containing the recovered data. This means a lot to me since it has most of my history on it, the things I would do to see my old projects one more time. I hope someone here can refer me to a service that can help fix these corrupted files so they can work properly. The files are recognizable by Horizon and Modio and have accurate names, dates, and thumbnails. I hope no one here tells me to "move on" or something like that since it's not the most useful advice and I feel like there's a viable solution to this problem, especailly given the investment already made (power brick, transfer cable, software license) to fix this. Besides, I plan on converting these Xbox 360 files to the Bedrock version of the game. If there are any other subreddits that specialize in data recovery, please let me know. I'll be sure to share some of what I did back then if this is successful. Thanks.
I have experienced a similar problem on Minecraft where some of my world files loading they glitch out a ton of textures and the screen tints red. I have no idea if any fixes work apart from if you remember what Title update they were created on you can load an old title update and tried loading them today. However if they are overwritten then I have no clue what you can do, since I don't think there is a way of looking at recovering older versions of a file on Xbox. If there are some that aren't overwritten you can try and load an older version use this tutorial I think it worked last time I checked . If they are overwritten badly then I am sorry to say they are likely lost forever which sucks but is a likely possibility.
Best of luck though. Hope you get the worlds back and if you do send pictures I wanna see them now
