The mod is great, but the option "Raw mouse input" makes my mouse stop working for no reason! (the laptop touchpad still works while the option is turned on)
This update is big. Really big. I'm honestly surprised we pulled it off but 1.7.6 is finally released, featuring all new seasons, overhauled terrain generation, bigger worlds, new blocks and more!
Download link above!
If you find any bugs or have any questions about installing or updating, please report them to our Discord server where we can discuss them with you! Thanks!
What font was used to make this poster? As the "&" and "k" look different to how it is in normal Minecraft.
Honestly this is god tier, the seasons is a nice thing, i wanted mojang to implement that since 1.2.5. This is currently my favorite version to play when i play solo.
This mod is absolutely amazing! I think the only thing left to add are the early villages seen in some screenshots, they would have some chests where you can find iron, seeds, crops,...
I have a problem. My game crashes after a bit If I use higher render distances. My pc is powerful enough to run them as I play with higher render distances on modern Minecraft. Any help is appreciated!
Hi,
I'm not sure if it's normal (and judging by previous beta plays it's not), but the usage of my GPU is ~100%. In the main menu. I'm using Java 8 and my GPU is RX560.
Besides, there is some flickering going on with the "Saving..." indicator. In-game GPU usage is around 30%.
EDIT: Night came in and FPS dropped from ~400 to 40, GPU usage is back to 100. Also the camera became quite unresponsive, as if there was some kind of ping.

You need to post a crash report, otherwise nobody knows what the issue could be, especially if it hasn't been reported before; I checked and didn't find any crashes related to rendering/render distance, but this report may be related as it also happened after some time; while the report only includes an exit code (which is NOT a proper error message/crash report!) "exit code 9" appears to indicate that the OS ran out of memory and killed the program to save itself, which can happen if you allocate too much memory (a general rule is to not allocate more than half of your available system memory to Java, which needs more due to the JVM itself and native libraries like OpenGL; aside from that, you should only allocate as much memory as the game actually needs, more may even degrade performance); if even my own modded 1.6.4 instance runs with only 512 MB allocated then should a modded instance of Beta 1.7.3 (of course, it might have a memory leak or you are running at a very high render distance, don't know what BTA supports). Either way, your crash may be different so you need to post the log/crash report.
Thanks for the help! I managed to solve the issue by giving the game Less ram. It was set to 1GB and I reduced it to 512MB. I would have given a crash report, however I am using the Betacraft launcher and I don't know how to check them in it.
This mod is great. My only criticism is something that was most likely an issue with the baseline game anyway; While I can customize controls, I cant swap the mouse buttons. I've played Minecraft my whole life with left click being build and right being destroy and this new setup trips me up all the time playing.

Good news, I added support for swapping mouse buttons a couple of days ago.
hello! i'm a player of modern minecraft and got interested in this mod! so far, it's very cool and a refreshing take on the game, even if i continuously get frustrated at the lack of sprint (its not even the lack of a food bar, it's JUST the sprint that im so used to XD), but i do have some suggestions for the mod!
- subtitles. please, please, i use subtitles on java minecraft and pray for them on bedrock soon, and while one of the accessibility issues i have with java lacking in controller support is fixed with this mod (native controller support was shocking but fantastic to find out), the mod doesn't re-add that accessibility feature with the subtitles. it'd probably take a bit of work but it'd be helpful!
- similarly, but not as necessary for me, a screen reader option / narrator option. reads chat, reads screen, etc
- also, an option to disable lightning flashes, same as modern minecraft's disable lightning flashes. i dont technically need this one either but the sky flashing bright is a visual thing and removing it doesn't remove the actual lightning strike anyway lol
- aaaand whatever other accessibility options that are in modern MC that seem important to yall. i know this isnt modern minecraft, but to have the options that add accessibility and stuff back in this version would make it a LOT more fun to play, even in subtle ways. or subtitle ways- JNDSHJN
- also maybe the ability to switch skins in the game itself? this one is definitely a preference thing, and maybe a mod for the mod would work better, but as a player of minecraft bedrock for most the time (controller easy and go brr) i do enjoy the skin switching on bedrock compared to java. on my main 1.19 instance, i have a skin switching mod (technically only partially works but when on survival on my own it works well enough) but on here i am stuck with one skin. not inherently a thing i need but would definitely prefer.
the main one i want to see added is subtitles though, and i'll definitely check back for updates soon! thank you for this variation in minecraft gameplay
I have looked around but am unable to find a texturepack section for your post, so I thought I'd post this here for the moment. It is a Faithful x32 pack, converted to work on BTA176_02.
At its core, its the Beta173 textures done by Vattic, so all credits to him. Other textures, some are altered versions from Faithful modded and the rest are done by myself. Not everything is done, but all items, mobs, font and all blocks except for 1 are complete (I think), so what you see in game and what is in your inventory should be all the Faithful pack.
I noticed that standard texturepack versions do not work with BTA, so I hope this is ok to post. You need to drop the zip file into your texturepacks folder and then add it to the game in the same way as you always have.
Found a bug; if you give the trommel a bucket of lava it eats the bucket as well. This isn't such a big deal though, since you're likely to get enough iron back to replace the bucket in full.
This mod Is AMAZING! Btw how can i get to the nether? i built the Portal frame (Without the corners) And lighted it up with Flint and Steel, But nothing happened!
I had the same problem. Currently, you need to build a complete portal of obsidian - with all 4 corners in place as well in order for it to ignite with flint and steel as usual.
Looks epic.
I like halo 3

Can someone help me, I don't really know how to make this mod into a server for me and my friends
Is it possible to play with regular Beta world generation? It just feels... idk, wrong?

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?

can you use other beta 1.7.6 mods with it, such as herobine or aether?
