I'm wondering about this because I know Festival '22 will probably have a cape, but I live on the other side of the US. Will Minecon Live 2021 have a cape, if it exists?
100% sure there will be no in-person event. Minecraft Festival was advertised to be the next minecon event so minecon live is probably all we're gonna get with no capes. 2022 will be in-person if all goes to plan and we'll get a cape then. Minecraft Festival was officially postponed to 2022 on the twitter account and the original page.
also don't get your hopes up about any locations, they said its going to be in Orlando, Florida and I'd be shocked if it changed locations between now and then.
