I hope this is in the right place and I don't know what I'm doing but how do I add skins for mobs (in minecraft edu).
There was a route which I did try which included putting it in com.mojang/resource_packs/resources for chicken/textures/entity as I'm reskinning the chicken and also parrots.
No idea what I'm doing. Please help.
Also if I did add the chicken skin, would it replace override the vanilla chicken skin or not?

Just wanna elborate it's in appdata/roaming/minecraft edu and then the rest that I mentioned above
