I've been working on the entities in my texture pack and it has been going smoothly. If you are unaware, the file for most mob textures is a 2 dimensional .png file that minecraft wraps around the mobs hitbox. Most mobs have mirrored limbs (if they have limbs). Some mobs have a second layer on top of the head that adds depth and detail. Now I've started on the drowned and am running into issues. The drowned has some unique features. First, each of its limbs are separate textures instead of being mirrored. Secondly, it has a second layer of texture over its whole body that makes up its clothes and shows the degradation of the drowned's flesh. For some reason when i edit the inside layer, minecraft cant see the changes and it just uses the default texture. Does anyone know how to fix this?
