For a sword me personally enjoy Latin. I name my sword Vita Steater it mean life stealer in Latin.

I usually go for silly or pun names.

Firstly, I have a few sets of matching equipment:

Pickaxe: Picky; Shovel: Diggy; Axe: Choppy
Pickaxe: Rocky; Shovel: Sandy; Axe: Woody

Pickaxe: Chip; Shovel: Doug; Axe: Wedge

Sword: Eeney Meany; Pickaxe: Miney Moe

Then several other names.

Mine was named Don't Break Your Legs. My brother named that. Sounds funny. =)

My Sword was named: The Hand Of God because it has fire aspect II

My Pickaxe was named: The Stonebreaker

I have a character (the Skeleton King from my Enderman Ninja series) who uses a unique artifact called the "Diabolical Warbow".

That's cool

I name my tools, weapons and armor so they wouldn't despawn. You know that after 5 mins the stuff despawn

i call my op sword's either Excalibur or The Chaos Broadsword. my bow i would call The Soul Reaper. and my armor i call the Mistward helmet, Mistward brestplate, Mistward leggards, and Mistward War boots.

I Named My Diamond Sword "Good Karma" (Reference From Borderlands 2), My Bow "Bad Karma", And My Axe "Starlight Slash". Couldn't Come Up With Any Armor Names, Though.

I named a diamond sword "Knowledge' I was lucky enough to get enchanted books with all the sword enchantments, so I put them on the sword and named it that as a symbol of the effort that it took to get.

I name my Sword usually.

And I call it "Jay's Blade" don't judge me.

Pickaxe name: "The Diorite Destroyer"

"Glamdring" is the name of my caving / general purpose sword.

"Just for Smite" is the name of my Smite sword.

"Spidy-B-Gone" is the name of my Bane of Arthropods sword

"Death Whisper" is the name of my bow.

"Let me Axe you?" is the name of my axe.

"Silky Smooth" is the name of my shovel.

"Silky" is the name of one pickaxe.

"Fortune" is the name of another pickaxe. I used to name it Fortune Cookie as a nod/tribute to Monkeyfarm.

Weapon/tool names help me easily tell the difference between different enchantments. I never considered naming armor.

I always name one of my swords either Hrunting or Naegling, based off the swords from the ancient epic Beowulf.

Whenever I get a fortune 3 pick, I name it Money Printer.

Helmet - No Name

My sword is called the backstabber

my efficiency pickaxes are called the rubber finger and don’t mine at night lol

My elytra is called windbreaker

my mending 1 punch 2 now is called Desperaux

My trident is called Apollo

and my axe is called Paul Bunyan’s axe
