" One life, One Chance " is a pack of 5 hardcore maps created by 7_carlos_7 over the last 4 years. These maps require quite a lot of skill and concentration in order to be completed, so i would recommend creating a bunch of copies of the map before starting, cause you will die a lot, but they are also fun to play! Hope you enjoy!
This is the first pack of hardcore maps that i have ever created. I'm already working in another pack of maps, much better that this one.
PLEASE if you have any problems playing the maps, or you find bugs in-game or during the downloading process, contact with me and I will try to fix the problems as soon as possible.
Also, if you can give me any tip in order to improve the quality of the map, the images or anything, put them down in the comment section. I would really appreciate it!!
I dont understand Battle Ground, im completed S.A.H.L after 46 attemps, but battle Ground its impossible, i dont know if thats bug or what, but i cant
I have uploaded an updated version of the map:
- I've noticed that sometimes the Death (Wither) effect doesn't dissapear while you are fighting (fixed)
- Sometimes Pigmen dealt more damage than usual (fixed)
- As an extra fix, i have decided to grant players more hearts than in the first version (It was 6 hearts previously, and now you have the classic 10 hearts), which makes it possible to be completed.
- Now you have to pick up the armor from the main chest, instead of being given by the map at the begining.
I am sorry for all the trouble and discomfort that this make may have created, I do apologize

The thing here is that this command blocks only test for 7_carlos_7, this means that any other player with another nickname can´t go to the victory altar, making it imposible to complete in a legal way.
Original code for the command block (uncompletable):
/testfor 7_carlos_7 {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:concrete",Damage:7s}]}
A posible code to work with no nickname restriction:
/testfor @a {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:concrete",Damage:7s}]}
Also, this map is really fun and interesting, and pretty tough to go back to the center, maybe a button there to go to the altar is a more simple solution.

I'll fix that as well as take a look at the syntax of the rest of command blocks in all maps since when i created the maps 4-6 years ago, i was still learning how to use them and there might be more hidden mistakes ;D

Turns out that there was a 3rd command block with the same mistake. It gives the player a really broken shield which would give you the chance to block some arrows. The map is still tough to complete though

In Battle Ground the Wither effect suddenly goes away and (almost) never returns.
And in S.A.H.L, I saw you put a bunch of purpur slabs, but you can jump normally, so I think the intended way was not to jump at all. Also in that map, you can't put the wools in the altar, so probably is the same case as the Sucked by a Black Hole map.
Btw, I have played all of your maps and I have to say that all of your maps are actually fun to play, the tougher ones were interesting to think my way out to victory, I'm still trying to complete Blue Bright Core (in my opinion the toughest of all), so Thank you for making all of this mini ctms, keep it up if you're still making maps to this day.

- Wintry Nightmare: COMPLETED after 3 attemps.
- Blue Bright Core: COMPLETED after 20 attemps.
- S.A.H.L: NOT COMPLETED after 82 attemps. (I feel a bit ashamed for that xD)
- Sucked by a black hole: COMPLETED after 34 attemps.
- Battle Ground: COMPLETED after 16 attemps.
