Hi I'm Mrbysco and I'm the person behind Statues, Measurements, Just/Roughly Enough Professions, Instrumental Mobs, Structure Compass and many more mods.
I love helping people. The whole reason I mod is to give back to the modding community.
If you have ideas for me post them in the comments. Be sure to be informative, I can't look inside your head if you just say "More furnaces" You gotta be more specific.
I've also dabbled in porting old mods to newer versions but if you suggest me to port a mod make sure it's open source.

Do you know how to modify the health bar/ damage mechanics? I would be very interested in a mod that implemented something like Bloodborne's Rally health system. In that, when you take damage you can earn that health back if you do damage back to monsters within the next few seconds. I know some mod in Sky Factory 3 already has a health stealing/vampirism weapon enchantment, so you might be able to base it on that, maybe in combination with a hidden status effect for the "at risk" hearts? I don't know how simple this would be, so feel free to reject it.

Got it!
This is what I currently have:
You take damage from lets say a zombie. It stores the damage in the player data sets hidden risk to true (which turns itself off after 2 seconds)
If you attack the mob that attacked you last you get back the health it took from you.

I would suggest 3.5 seconds. It takes 1.2 seconds to fully draw a bow, so that gives you two shots (with minimal aiming) at a distance. Combat is much faster-paced in Minecraft than in Bloodborne, but two seconds would be barely enough to make up for the knockback of whatever hit you in melee. But perhaps the exact timeout could be changeable in a config file?

Added a config in which you can change the timer. It now defaults to the suggested 3.5 seconds.

Great. Thanks. I can help bug test it, whenever you have a playable alpha version.
I've created a page for the mod on Curse/Curseforge. Currently awaiting approval, once approved you'll be able to download the mod
I'll link it as soon as it's available.

I have two simple mod requests to ask of you for version 1.13.
One, is to add custom doors to the game that can be placed on top of leaves (so I can build atop woodland canopies using the leaves as foundation for the house(s))
The second, is to make squids drop calamari that can be cooked to eat. Or you know, replace the vanilla squid with modded squid.
I have many added many multiplayer servers, a mod for managing servers is just what i need. Like folder them or categorize them in anyway will be great.
If you know a mod already made for this purpose please let me know. Thanks

1.Malisisdoors 2.Pam's Harvestcraft (but i think a lot of mods contain calamari)
Description: A mod, similar to the 'CoralReef'-mod by Nandonalt/primetoxinz that provides better reefs and corals, as a lot of people don't like the style of the new corals in the aquatic update. The corals should be like plants growing in different stages on the reefblocks like wheat does on farmland. If you harvest them you get 1-3 coral-items that you can use as a dye, craft into a decorative coralblock, or for replanting. Also it would be nice if there are one ore two corals that grow like sugarcane to have bigger corals.
1x wheat-like oyster (as food and to obtain a pearl)
pearl armor/tools/weapon
1x wheat-like sponge (craftable into spongeblock)
coralblock stairs and slabs
worldgeneration
I already made the 16x16 textures for the mod, so that wouldn't be on you anymore Furthermore I'm working on an high quality, animated 32x32 resource pack for such a mod.
There's a mod called "Starminer" which has these anti-gravity plates which change your gravity based on what direction it's placed on. Could you modify it so that it applies to all solid blocks, including nonsolid solid blocks like stairs and pistons, without the need for these plates? If this is beyond your capabilities or time, could you suggest to how I would go about doing it myself? So, as an example, if you have a dirt wall, I wanna be able to walk up this wall without placing any plates on it. I think it would be incredibly fun to combine with the cubic chunks mod, which allows for infinite generation upwards. http://forum.minecraftuser.jp/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17975
I found another mod that has gravity plates, but they work much better, the camera doesn't make you feel like you're going to vomit every time you turn a corner and you have to physically walk into it to cause the effect rather than if you're anywhere near it it'll fling you in every which way direction. It also doesn't clip you through walls. If you can use this as a base as opposed to starminer, I would appreciate it, however this one does not allow you to turn corners above 180 degrees which is an issue that needs resolving even moreso than the other. Make your own choice. https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/up-and-down-and-all-around
I have posted this on my own forum post, and another comment. Be sure to check to see if someone has taken up the project before doing it yourself.
Hey bysco, what about a mod that adds simple RP languages into the game? I will try to ellaborate.
So there would be a few commands such as /lang and /speak You can select a language by writing /lang (And your languague here) once you've selected it, you can do /speak (Message here) And other people that don't know that language will just see random words and letters, while the ones that have permission to read it in game they will see the actual message. There would also be commands such as /lang permission (lang) (player) so that player can read the messages the people who have permission to speak in that language send. There'd also need to be a few commands more like /lang create, and you can create your own language.

You could make a mod about a magic wand that has these abilities...
-shoot wither skulls
-summon evocation fangs
-heal yourself
-summon a massive fire that you control by moving your cursor into the direction you want it to go in
-summon iron golem army
-shoot big wave of ice shards at a target that can kill
-summon lightning storm
- summon a rain of arrows of harming

This is my idea :https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-mods/requests-ideas-for-mods/2889735-realistic-wolwes-mod-idea
Maybe this is harder but it would only focus on wolves
BeccaWr1tes Aaand maybe add some jewels that can be made from emerald to give it some meaning
