Have you heard about the far lands before? The far lands we're a wall that used to spawn in the versions from Infdev to beta 1.7.3. This wall was totally... broken, with a lot of holes. If you want more information, search on the internet. This place is know beacuse it spawns 12550820 blocks away from the center of the world and because it makes your game lag a lot. If you already know about the existence of the far lands and always wanted to get there: you came to the right place! I discovered this a few weeks (maybe months) ago and now i'm going to share this easy and fast trick with you (no programs required):
1st step: Load the latest version.
2nd step: Create a new world with cheats allowed. I recommend you to use the creative mode.
3rd step: Now type this command in the chat: /tp 12550500 100 0 (you can change the 0 to 12550500 if you want to see the edge far lands)
4th step: Put your player in somewhere high, but not too high (like a small tree). This will make you avoid spawn in the underground and getting suffocated.
5th step: Close your minecraft and load the version Beta 1.7.3
6th step: Go to the options, put the difficulty on peaceful and the video settings as worst as possible (render distance is not required)
7th step: Load the world you just created. You'll see a warning saying "Must be converted!" below it, just ignore it.
8th step: As you can see, your player is like, teleporting from block by block, or something like that; the hit box is bugged and there are some problems in the world generation. If all of this happened, it's a great signal. press F3 to see your position, if you're at the right position: it worked!
9th step (optional): Take a look around!
10th step: If you chose the original far lands, walk in a straight line in the "x" axis. If you chose the edge far lands, walk in a straight line in the "x" or "z" axis. Walk for a bit and... there they are!
They're beautiful, aren't they? Leave a comment saying your experience (if you want to) and enjoy it!
This is a old topic, but thank you. I was going through all Minecraft versions and couldn't find them. They are so cool. Wish they kept them in the game.
