Whenever I want to place a name tag on an animal it won’t let me. I am in creative mode. I tried in survival and it let me give it to it but it wouldn’t show the name. When I take it off the anvil it says Nametag in orange instead of the name I named it. Has this happened to you and if so what did you do to fix it!? Please help!

Are you trying to name an entire stack or a single nametag?
I have the same problem I can't do single or a stack
