There relly needs to be a better search algorithm, it takes about five minutes to just find a game. Also we need votekicking, the hosts kick people who killed them, didnt team with them, or just anyone who wins few times in a row. Dedicated servers would be nice but for some reason you just cant do it, even tho
pc version servers like hypixel, who dont demand money if you want to play, have tons of dedicated servers.
We are currently looking into the issues with matchmaking.
It's entirely up to the host of the game who they have/don't have in there game.

I thi m battle mode is great. I used to have to download Hunger Games maps by myself and go through the whole invite process, but now playing with my friends is much easier!
-The invulnerability time needs to be increased a little.
-Maps need to be a bit larger.
-players should be able to invite their friends to an in-game party and then search for a game rather than trying to join an online game and then rush to invite a friend to join(sometimes the lobby is full and u have to back out and search again).
Thanks for this amazing free update.
Had quite a few people mention that the Grace period is a little short - we will experiment with this further.
Map sizes we played about with and found that getting any bigger with 8 players leads to fewer confrontations and more chances for the game to timeout. - We will look into this though.
Will need to look into allowing parties going creating public games before it opens to the public.

not working for me at all :/ just bought the season pass and cant see any new content
the only thing I can actually see that has changed, is that my game freezes/crashes/switches into offline mode WAYYYYYY more often. Was there an afk auto kick added?

Unfortunately, the season pass is for FUTURE content. This means, that when new DLC DOES come out, you will be able to download it.
yeah my switching to offline mode problem is definitely related to being afk. I left my controller's analog sticks pointing straight left, making it so I dont go afk, for an hour. As soon as I stop moving myself and go afk for less then 10 minutes, it switches into offline mode.

Unfortunately, the season pass is for FUTURE content. This means, that when new DLC DOES come out, you will be able to download it.
The season pass covers the current Map Pack.

Well, when I purchased the map pack/season pass on my Xbox ONE, I had to click on it AGAIN, and press "install" before I was able to play them.
As far as I'm aware Xbox one doesn't auto install DLC after purchasing.

Does matchmaking suppose to say full or host exited game? Everytime I try to join public, it says that, all I can do is rely on friends and most the time they are invite only or immature people kicking for winning. One time I was hiding from a team of 4 and got kicked for that, that isn't fair, can no kicking during a battle be allowed? During lobby you can, but during a game, no kick? It's hard to enough to get in a battle. Also, there was a bug that someone on crucible that someone killed me from stairs on top and I'm on bottom and I died. Also stuff from chest go back in even though it goes in my hot at for a second.
Also, add game modes, like easy, normal, and hard. Each having it's on level of stuff in chest, hard having OP stuff.
Also the chest spawn locations are mostly the same in every map... So maybe add a few more location for chests to spawn in.
Chests aren't randomly spawned into the map - they will always be in the same location.

I would, too, like to see the option to disable Showdown.
An option to disable the "Take All" option for chests would be nice.
And it would be handy if in the lobby or in the start menu there could be a display for the host's options and rules for the session (is it casual/competitive, game duration, and any other future options that are added).
About the host kicking players, I understand that the host should control who is or isn't in the game (maybe they shouldn't make the game public?), but to be kicked by the host right after you get a couple kills really just bums us players out. And it happens often, often enough for players to complain about it. If the host is going to be able to kick players, maybe they should have to wait until everyone is back in the lobby. After all it's not like this is their private world.
Otherwise, great mode. I had always hoped 'hunger games' would come to consoles.

Is it intentional to have players be able to sprint below 3 hunger bars? I love the matchmaking & the lobby feature.
i would suggest vote-kicking, exlusive to minigames, as opposed to the host deciding.

they released one of the maps already. we should be able to play on the first one

I'm on ps4 but playing battle only works with friends for me.
I've been trying to join a public game for 10 minutes and it keeps saying server is full or host disconected.
But the idea is nice, the time invincible should be increaced slightly and matchmaking should be made better.

auto starting when players haven't pressed ready is kinda bad you should make auto start an option for the host to enable/disable
