Tkdsouth, if you are the owner of the realm, that is why you can still get on it, because you have not updated yet. Your partner has updated MC version 0.16, so it doestn match the realm anymore, which is still in 0.15.10
Once you update with your ios, then you both can get on realm.

Hi I have a problem and mojang is no help I bought a realm on mpce a day ago and an error message popped up and said your purchase was successful but we could not create your realm right now we will create it asap check back later on this device. I am on an apple using the latest version of mpce and have a stable wifi I was able to create realms before so why now is there a problem
You may need to force update, uninstall and reinstall the app, the update that realms adds may force you into beta so you have to manually select no beta to have a realm online..
