Hello people, I recently started making texture packs for entertaining. My current project is to make a space-themed resource pack. I would like the pack to have a full Skybox, meaning that you could see the Skybox all around you, including under you. However, Minecraft have a strange black "layer" that hides the bottom part of the Skybox, making my pack pretty much useless. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:
After some researching, I found out that this "layer" starts disappearing at around 600Y.
So, my question is, is there any way to disable this with a resource pack?
Thanks for answering!

PS: Sorry for bad English.
No, but enabling VBOs disables the layer (which I call the "void box").
Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
Thanks. I figured that you can disable it too by disabling "Sky" with Optifine.
