Piling on. We are seeing mobs that are drifting through walls and attacking from underground. Chickens & dogs are floating over fences and high into the sky. Hard to explain what is going on to my 6yo.
With Splitscreen, local game, and on peaceful survival mode Minecarts behave erratically. There speed increases faster than it should and they do not slow down from track length or turns, and they will jump of the rails and phase through blocks whenever a change in momentum occurs such as where a slope changes to flat or a turn occurs. Usually the cart will disappear or be floating above the tracks afterward. Reloading the save usually results in the carts returning to the tracks where the belong. Works fine in Creative mode and single player local game. I haven't tested other difficulties yet.
EDIT: The spiltscreen online game was a valid temporary fix for this issue. I don't know if the recent update addressed this or not.
The changelog for yesterday's update says it "fixed an issue with dropped items sinking below the ground". I've never experienced this issue, so I can't say if it's been fixed or not, but I can say for sure that the similar problem of mined blocks flying around randomly, getting sucked up through the ground, and/or simply disappearing most certainly has not been fixed. In fact, it seems to happen more frequently, to the point that I've had to give up trying to mine at all for the time being. Every 3rd or 4th block now does not drop where I mine it, or anywhere nearby; some I find on the surface, about 60 blocks above my mine tunnels, but some I can't find at all - they've either disappeared completely or possibly ended up in a random location somewhere between my tunnels and the surface. Either way, I'm sick of climbing out of my mine tunnels each time I mine anything of value to search for the errant blocks. Is this still being worked on, or was it supposed to have been fixed when the "sinking items" issue was?
The same thing happens to me and it's really annoying. What I do for the valuable items I mine is I mine a block above them so there is space for it to not get sucked up to the surface. So far this has been working for me so that they don't disappear or make me go out of my way to the surface to pick it up.

hey 4j, i found a graphical bug...kinda useful but difficult to use...it duplicates lily pads...oh and this was done on the xbox one CU14 last night.
step one find a single lily pad
step two get in a boat
step three go maximum speed
step four look at water at an angle
step five hold the placement controller button for lily pad
step six bask in sight of two visually duplicated lily pads
though it does duplicate, only one has a drop...this would be useful since there is no way to generate more lily pads at the moment...please in CU15 make it so we can use bone meal on water while in a swamp biome to create up to 9 (3x3) lily pads.

Has anyone noticed the amount of diamonds you get with a fortune 3 pick axe acts very strange. I found 8 diamonds and silk touched them then used my fortune three pick axe on them later. I got about 11 diamonds from it. Then I found 8 more and set them up to break them and I lost power in my house. When I loaded Minecraft again I broke them down and only got 1 diamond from each block. I did this once again and got 9 diamonds from 8 blocks. This was kind of odd because I have never got so many consistent drops of 1 diamond with a fortune 3 pick axe before. So I turned off auto save and set up 8 blocks and broke them three times in a row reloading after each line was broken. I got 1 diamond from each block every single time. Did it a forth time and got 4 from 1 block and all the rest were 1. Is this weird or am I defying the laws of probability to the negative extreme? Broke 2 more lines of 8 and reloaded and only got 1 diamond from each both times. Seriously?! is there a bug or did 4J lower the probability of getting more then 1 diamond from fortune 3?

Ok so I figured something out a few hours later. Every time I was about to log off I would setup the diamonds to break when I loaded the game back up. Figured out if I broke them first thing after a reload some weird stuff would happen and I would not get many extra diamonds. My last tests were all reloading and seeing how many I would get. Still had my diamonds setup from last test when I got on and decided to just go do something else. I enabled auto save, built some stuff, then came back later and broke the diamonds and got 25 of them which is good. Was getting frustrated but there must be something going on to prevent people from reloading for a better haul of diamonds chance using reloads which I am fine with.
When travelling to the nether and then coming back out, I am sent approximately 350 to 400 blocks away, and have to travel back to my home. You will always come out there, even if you deconstruct the portal that the game made.

When you place a map in an item frame it shows the item frames location on the map. If the timeframe and map are located in a location not on the map (say it's the map to the left of the map in the frame) the location is shown as being on the very edge of the map, in the direction of the item frames location. This all works as it should.
when multipul maps are placed in item frames that are placed together (to create a large wall map of whatever size) each map still shows its location on each map; you end up with a center map with the current location, and several other pins in the map that are basicly worthless distractions.
I know this isn't really a bug, and is probably working as it was designed; at the same time I'm confident that this was an oversight at the time of implimentation, and that by bringing it up you would agree and will look into changing it.

If you set up a portal in the overworld, when you go into the nether you have to break that portal and set it up at the coordinates that are divided by 8 from the coordinates of the overworld.
I'm having an issue with my game crashing constantly. This has been happening for about a month now. I can load my world up just fine however it will ALWAYS crash after I do so. Sometimes it'll only take 10 mins to kick me back to the dashboard and other times it can happen after an hour of playing. This is very irritating and I have found no fix for this problem. I've already tried power cycling the xbox, uninstalling the game etc... My world was imported from my 360 but the crashing also occurs if a world was created on the One. Furthermore I don't have any maps in item frames and have never placed any in the world before.
If anyone has a workaround or some advice I'd be truly thankful. I love this game too much and it's super annoying having to boot the game back up every time it happens.
I've always before been able to just have one portal, and go into it and back out of it at the same location in both places. I'm not trying to set up a nether hub, or anything like that, though that might be an option down the line. All I need is to have 1 portal and go into the nether then come back out in the same place in the overworld. I've never seen this problem before.
This is happening due to the fact that where your nether portal should be in the nether is inhabitable. You need to divide your coordinates at your overworld portal by 8 go to that location in the nether and be careful bc the reason it couldn't spawn there could be due to the fact that there is lava there. I have had this happen a few times and it seems like i only have to move the portal in the nether about 20 blocks or so to get them to work properly. Hope this helps.
Wait, to clarify, you are talking about the XB1 version, right? I know the PC version is 8 to 1 in the nether, but I've read in a few places that the XB1 version is 3 to 1. Thanks for responding!
Can you make the game faster I have big door over at least 1000 piston all firing off piston and redstone lag needs to be faster plz so it can handle it
Also fix the sand it should all fall at same time not different times getting really annoyed with it not falling like PC does

Yes xbox one.
Mobs that are standing on the block supporting on a fence will respawn on the other side of the fence when the world is reloaded.
Graphical error when zombie villagers wear pumpkins.
Stronghold hallways don't generate chests in the designated spots.
When you plant mushrooms they will not grow.
