Why do I keep seing people talking about rails... What rails?
the 1.7.10 had rails that were needed for the elevators, they were removed during the 1.8 update due to no multi-part api existing at the time for 1.8, and I never bothered to re-add them, they caused more problems than they were worth.
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.
Sounds, Textures and additional Pokemobs can be added by also using the following mod:

How can, I god damn build that elevator on 1.7.10 version? I follow the instructions, but there is nothing... click rmb many times on elevator block, but nothing happen...yes, I build rails...I make the SAME variation of elevator,but nothing happen...

hey im trying to make an elevator in 1.7.10 in this bunker and it doest want to go up or down but when i make it outside and above the bunker it wants to work

Are those blocks on the side of the elevator fences? sorry i just dont really know how to use the mod

I just realized you meant the rails. You said you removed them in 1.8 so how do you create an elevator that works?

Curse Premiumin the latest versions the device linker is used to make the elevators, you right click one corner, and shift right click the other corner
