Question: Anyone know roughly how long it takes for the Peaceful Table to spawn drops, and whether or not a dark room will help or hurt that rate? Just curious....
Quick suggestion: how about some kind of solid block where mobs can't spawn? Or maybe an invisible something that counts as a transparent block, so you could place it on normal blocks and mobs wouldn't be able to spawn on it.
The rate is approximately once a minute, although in practice it's very random with a lot of variability. The rate is not affected by light level.
Thanks. I can just stash in my sorting room, then, and figure out something to auto-refill the stone swords I'm using. BTW, works perfectly with the chests from EnderStorage Mod, though I'm curious if it'll work with the ME Chests from Applied Energistics or even with turtles (they DO have a 16 slot inventory, after all)...
RWTema, not sure if it was on purpose or an oversight; but found one nagging issue with the Peaceful Table: Its not generating drops from Mobs made by other Mods, like (specificially) the ThaumCraft Brain Zombie (whatever its actually called). I have half a double-chest of drops from every vanilla mob, even potatos and an iron ingot probably from a vanilla zombie; but I have not even so much as heard a whisper of any mob not found in vanilla Minecraft.
Wanted to get that out there.... Oh, and my Witch Hut Station is keeping me well-stocked in redstone, glowstone, and bottles. No potions yet, but I'm patient.....
I know about the non-vanilla mobs not spawning and it's going to be fixed in the next version which will hopefully be up sometime this week (assuming I don't find any game-breaking bugs, which is always possible).
NP; Just getting that out here in case you didn't know about it yet. About the only other thing I find wrong; and this is SO minor an issue, you can leave it as-is if you want, though other mods seem to be having the same problem: The Peaceful Table (yes; it is the major reason I use this mod) doesn't seem to recognize the weapons made by Tinkers Construct as being valid. Now, I know Ars Magica has the same problem, and if I remember what direwolf20 said on one of his videos concerning it, its because TC stores its data concerning durability damage in a dfferent way. I'm fine if its something you don't care to work on, since I can just use the Reconstructer to make stone swords as I need them.
New Update! I've added spikes, a watering can and sonar goggles. I've also added custom rendering for the unstable ingots and tools (which still need work but I think this is a step in the right direction).
This is probably going to be the last major update for a while as I've got exams coming up. I'll try to fix any major bugs or problems that come up but for the most part it's going to be on semi-hiatus for the next few weeks.
That's cool, thanks for the update. 1.6 will be right around the corner as it is (of course, I'm always a ways behind waiting on all of the mods to update anyway).
Well you can already do that in vanilla with half-slabs placed on the ground - mobs don't spawn on those, or even simpler just put down some torches.
The idea was so you could avoid using half blocks everywhere, in case you wanted a dark room for some reason. Well, your mod even has those curtains to help with that, so why not go the extra mile!
In the latest update mob drops from the peaceful table are really rare... I quite liked the rate before
EDIT: oops, just took a while for em to spawn but I feel the rate changed...

I would absolutely love more tiers of spikes, including mod metal spikes. How about for gold, you can enchant it and the spike will have that enchantment effect on it when it hits something? And don't forget the enchantment visual effect on the spikes placed in the world...
Since you liked it, I have an idea that I always wanted to see in a mod, a button that works as a lever [i.e. you right click once to turn the redstone signal on, again to turn it off]. For the simple fact that I prefer the look of button over levers.

Why does the lasso need an ender pearl now? Seeing as the lasso would be mostly used in the begining of the game where you're trying to start up a farm, you wouldn't think an enderpearl would be used. Especially since enderpearls are nearly impossible to get now without trading.
I don't think they're that difficult to get (and I suck at Minecraft combat, don't tell anyone). Just stand under a ledge where the enderman can't get you and you shouldn't have a problem.
If you're playing on peaceful, I may be adding a 'peaceful' alternative that doesn't require the enderpearl. That's next version though.
Although I'm aware of that exploit and I know that has nothing to do with you, I really don't like using that 'strategy'. As of now, enderman are broken.
It's up to you if you want to use the ender pearl in the recipe of course, but just a thought.
What is the range of the pipe system? I have things in the "hopper" but it keeps cycling through the same X,Y,Z and I have those items in chests already but it won't sort or move.
The range is effectively infinite, as long as there is pipe there it will scan through it. I'm not sure what the problem might be from your description, if you're using sorting pipes check to ensure there is a valid inventory for what you want to sort.
I have my input chest that I will just dump everything into then along a wall I have a double chest double trapped chest setup probably about 20 total and I have multiple items in each chest but the sorting pipes don't move items further than the first 4 chests, I have all the chests seeded with items so they will sort out but when I check the transfer node it has a stack and it is just cycling through a small set of xyz and nothing moves even though that item is in a chest along the chain.
What are the odds you will ever add an upgrade to the Transfer Node allowing it to only pull out specific blocks instead of everything in the container it is attached to? I would really love to be able to ONLY pull out Cobble, Dirt and Gravel from a chest specifically to route it into your Trash Can
Heres the vid

I cannot seem to locate recipes in the latest version for these or the watering can. Am I missing something?

What do you think?.
