LOL... that makes me quite happy to hear! well... not ur heart imploding, but that you like it XD
Hey dude, I made a mod review. Hope it isn't too short, but I find making short but to the point mod reviews is better and not boring!

Awesome! watched it, very to the point... I will add it to the main page... ALSO... all crafting recipes will be added and I will be making a crafting guide
Just downloaded and I will give this mod a look through tomorrow. I love this type of thing (decoration mods) so I'm sure that it will suit me perfectly. I was adding my own models/props back in 1.4.7 but never got around to looking at code changes for the later MC versions. Plus, a modding mate of mine was adding them into his mod so I didn't really need to.
Anyway, onto my question for you to think over. Around that earlier time I was thinking about an idea for a mod that I'd like to put to you as yours is in a similar area. It would essentially be a mod where a user could add/load their own Techne models into the mod, load a texture for it, assign an ID, click finish (or something) and the model would be in the game.
I'm not sure if this is even possible to achieve (how would it be added to the code, compiled etc) but I thought I'd suggest the idea. I know there are mods out there that can add blocks and items etc, and this would be along those lines, so I'm kind of hoping that it's possible and you are willing to look into it. Maybe ask Noppes first and see if he thinks it's do-able?
Either way I look forward to seeing where you go with this mod and I may have some models for you soon. But as I offered them to someone else first I need to check if he's okay with me passing them on. Even though they are my models I feel it's the decent and proper thing to do.
Is there any particular theme you are aiming for (I see a lot of toys in the list) or are you open to anything?
Hi!
Well first off to answer your first question... I asked Noppes about your idea and he said "It is doable, but it would be extremely time consuming and there is a huge amount of variables that would have to be considered like but not limited to: general scaling, x scaling, y scaling, z scaling, offset positions on x, y and z, scaling in inventory, texture layouts, and it would be hard to integrate into Techne, due to the fact it has it's own stand alone file system".
As for the models I am open to anything really, as long as it is something people will want if you have any models you want to send my way I will definitely have a look through them and add them in... and of course give you credit for anything you contribute with.

Those are awesome! Thank you again for adding my idea in :3
Thanks for the quick response.
Yeah, from what little I know about how coding works I didn't think it would be easy. Just to be clear (and not pushing the issue) because your reply left me thinking you'd got the wrong idea, I meant the mod should be integrated into Minecraft not Techne. I didn't mean to imply that it should import Techne models, I meant that the model would be designed in Techne and the texture applied in the same way as always. That model would be exported as Java code from Techne and then that code and texture would be imported into the Minecraft mod. The scaling, offset etc would all be handled in Techne, just like it is now. A 16x16 block in Techne would be the same scale as a Minecraft block. This scale limit would have to be a limitation of the mod, unless an option for simple scaling (x0.5, x2, x4) was added at some point. Same for the offset - however far off the base block the model is is how far off the prop is from it's placement block in Minecraft. But for the moment I was just thinking about a way to get the creations into the game without people needing to code. I generally model in Techne at that 16x16 scale then I don't have to worry about scaling things. I see from a closer look at some of your pics that you do scale them down/up after they are modelled, so I can see why it would be a problem.
But I hope that makes things clearer, like I say I'm not pushing for it, just trying to explain it better.
BTW: I love those last couple of pics. The doghouse one looks so cute.
Oh I did understand you, I didn't mean implementing it to Techne, I did mean minecraft, but at the end of the day I think that sort of mod is something I don't have the knowledge to pull off :(, I do however think you have a good idea going

Ok guys so added recipes for all the items, I will be making a recipe guide as fast as I can, and uploading it! Also made separate versions of the small jack o' lanterns! Working on the Cello, Harp and Turtle
I don't know if you know this, or if it helps, but NEI (NotEnoughItems) will show you the recipe for each object and then you just need to take a screenshot. A quick paint package edit to add the shots together and you are ready to post it in your OP.
I second the idea for a garden gnome, or even better a few varieties/colours. A standard one, a fishing one, one holding a spade etc.
Also I have some models that are almost ready for you to look at. I will try and get a download ready this weekend as it includes three gravestones that may go well with your Halloween update.
All I have to do is give them the once over, as it's been awhile since I checked the Techne versions out, and then they are ready. It's a bit of a mixed bunch but I think you'll find some that are useful.
EDIT: And take your time, there's no rush, people will wait. You're doing a good job with this mod but do it when you want to.
Can't wait to see your models! I love working on this mod, especially making or adding other's contributions and ideas...

don't click this link...
I have only added in 2 recipes so far, but I will be adding in all of them.
Ok I will put it on the list, I wanted to add a big dog house anyways, so making a little one won't be that hard
